Reading
LanguageFollows your system unless you pick one. Changes this interface only — the script and Chloe’s narration are always Korean.
Korean typefaceSans by default — at A2–B1 you're still consolidating jamo, and serif's thin strokes blur ㅁ/ㅇ and ㄹ/ㄷ at screen sizes.
Text sizeBigger than a normal UI on purpose — you read this at arm's length while speaking.
ThemeFollows the system unless you pick one. Sepia is warmer and dimmer again — worth trying if a long read feels bright.
Shadowing
Hear it before you speakOnce by default. Twice feels safer but halves your reps and turns drilling into listening.
Gap before your turnA breath. Chloe's own A2 guidance asks for a beat of silence after each sentence.
Play your attempt backOn. It doubles session time and it is where the learning happens — repetition into a void teaches nothing.
Ask how it wentOne tap builds your retry list. Off means pure flow, no record kept.
Move on by itselfOn. Stopping to tap after every phrase breaks the rhythm that makes shadowing work.
Recording headroomHow much longer than Chloe you get. Learners run slow at first.
Playback
Default speed1.0×. She's a broadcast announcer — her diction is already clear, and natural speed is the target. Slow is a tool for hard lines, not a starting point.
Pause between loopsRoom to breathe when a line is on repeat.
